WHO WE ARE

Parent company Lehane Enterprises Pty Ltd, is owned and operated by third generation transmission engineers, founded in the 1940's. The Company is dedicated entirely to the design, manufacture and distribution of centrifugal clutches under the product names: Aussie Clutches, Centrifugal Clutches Australia, Lehane Centrifugal Clutches and Lawrence Throwgrip Clutches.

LOCATION

Lehane Centrifugal Clutch manufacturing facility is located in Sydney, Australia's largest city. Situated on the east coast, adjacent to international freight terminals for both sea and air freight services, enables us to service international clients with minimum delay.

TYPICAL USES

Lehane Centrifugal Clutches are used world wide on equipment that requires starting assistance with motors or engines 1/4 HP. -3000 HP. (.2kw.-2238kw.) such as vibrating compactors, concrete finishing trowels, agricultural grain conveyors, transport refrigeration, irrigation pumps, stand-by fire pumps, wood chippers, ball mills and heavy duty crushers.

TECHNICAL INFORMATION

Our very experienced engineering and sales staff will confer with clients to select the correct clutch from our extensive stock (Approximately 2000 configurations) or custom design a unit to clients requirements. Lehane Centrifugal Clutches can be supplied to suit any shaft or flywheel mounting on small electric motors, petrol motors (gasoline) to very large Diesel motors. Power takeoff can be supplied in any "VEE" Belt configuration, chain sprockets or in-line arrangements either direct mounted or through flexible or universal joint couplings.
